Yes yes I am very proud of myself..... me and the boys from my band Tempo won our catagory at The Gold Guitar Awards held in the weekend.

I am not normally a country chick but we thought we would enter on a whim, and I was blown away that we made it through to the finals, let alone win it. We performed Dolly Partons "9 to 5" (James wife jenny takes credit for the song selection), and overall it was just so much fun.

Huge props to the boys, James Davy on guitar, Scott Brown on bass and Bevan Gardiner on Drums. You played amazingly.

And congratulations to Vicky Evans from Kaitangata who took out the overall big prize, she was awesome.

Maybe we will have to enter again next year, I may have been bitten by the bug. Check out some pictures on the photo page.
