About Amanda Goodwin...

Originating from the North Island this Singer/Song writer and her unique modern funk/soul styling has become renowned as one of the highlights of the vibrant Dunedin music scene.

Her dedication to music was evident from her early years, with her first original performance at the of age 8 In a School Chamber concert band, she has continued to grow as an artist and has been part of some highly regarded bands, Including Soul Deep, Live Wire and recently along with band Tempo took out 1st place in the group section of the 2011 Gold Guitar Awards. She has unexpectant soul and power in her voice.

She is a prolific songwriter and performs her own music with her band The Mighty Mightys. She has release her Album of her own songs, titled All I Wanna Do, which features ‘Love Song’ which was a finalist in the MLT Songwriting Awards. She has performed at venues/events around the country including the Queenstown Jazz Festival, Alexandra Blossom Festival, and Carisbrook Stadium.
